At Lazuli Eco, our mission is to advance ecosystem restoration and regulatory compliance through collaborative, science-driven solutions. We specialize in fisheries biology and environmental permitting, helping agencies, Tribes, and private partners navigate complex regulatory landscapes while protecting aquatic ecosystems. With deep roots in the Pacific Northwest and a commitment to integrity, we strive to promote ecological resilience and responsible environmental management.
Shari Anderson is a fisheries biologist and environmental compliance specialist with deep roots in Southern Oregon and a lifelong commitment to natural resource conservation. She holds a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from Oregon State University and an M.S. in Fisheries Science from Cal Poly Humboldt, where she partnered with Tribal organizations to study coho salmon in the Klamath River.
Shari began her career in Alaska with the U.S. Forest Service, where healthy salmon runs sparked her passion for habitat protection and policy. She went on to serve 17 years with NOAA Fisheries, where she played a lead role in permitting the largest dam removal project in U.S. history. Her work to protect ESA-listed species during the Klamath Dam removal earned her NOAA Fisheries’ Employee of the Year award.
After 25 years of experience, Shari brings her experience in interagency collaboration, environmental permitting, and Tribal partnership to complex restoration and infrastructure projects across the West through Lazuli Eco.
